1. General Information
Joe Knows Hospitality provides a platform for buying and selling tickets for live events. Our marketplace allows users to purchase tickets at prices above or below face value. All transactions conducted via our Site are subject to these Terms.
2. Ticket Purchases and Sales
- Ticket Listings: Tickets listed for sale may be at, above, or below the ticket’s original face value.
- Transaction Confirmation: By purchasing tickets through our Site, you agree to pay the price listed, including any applicable taxes.
- Ticket Availability: All tickets are subject to availability. We do not guarantee the availability of any specific tickets until your order is confirmed.
3. Payment and Fees
- Payment: Payment for tickets is due at the time of purchase and must be made through the payment methods specified on the Site.
- Service Fees: Joe Knows Hospitality may charge service fees for facilitating transactions on the Site. These fees will be clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.
- Taxes: You are responsible for paying any applicable taxes related to your ticket purchase, including but not limited to sales tax, VAT, or any other local taxes.
4. Ticket Delivery
- Electronic Tickets: Tickets may be delivered electronically (via email, a download link, or by transferring), and you are responsible for ensuring you have access to the appropriate device or application to view or print the tickets. Joe Knows Hospitality is at the liberty of the venue or artist as to which method the tickets will be delivered to you.
- Physical Tickets: If physical tickets are purchased, delivery will be arranged through the method selected at checkout. Shipping fees and delivery times will vary based on the chosen method.
- Receiving Tickets: Tickets are sent once they are available for transfer. Often, tickets are sent within 24 hours of purchase, but transfer delays can occur, and Joe Knows Hospitality reserves the right to send you tickets no later than 24 hours prior to your event.
5. Ticket Cancellation, Refunds, and Exchanges
- Non-Refundable: All ticket purchases made through the Site are final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations except as required by law.
- Event Cancellation/Postponement: If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, we will work with the event organizer and venue to inform customers of any available options. If an event is cancelled, a full refund will be processed in 7–10 business days. If an event is rescheduled and the tickets are deemed valid for the new date, then no refund will be provided. If the customer cannot attend the rescheduled date, the purchaser can reach out to the Joe Knows Hospitality team to resell their tickets, which may be above or below the initial purchase price.
6. User Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information when making a purchase, including but not limited to billing information, contact details, email, and event details.
- Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws and regulations regarding the purchase, sale, and resale of tickets. It is your responsibility to ensure that your activities on the Site are legal in your jurisdiction.
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or unethical practices related to ticket sales.
- Use bots or other automated means to purchase tickets.
- Sell or resell tickets in violation of any event organizer’s terms, conditions, or policies.
- Attempt to circumvent any controls or restrictions put in place by Joe Knows Hospitality to prevent fraud or abuse.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Joe Knows Hospitality will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Site, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of data, or any damage to your computer or other devices.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or the use of the Site will be governed by the laws of the state of New Jersey. You agree to submit any disputes to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Jersey.
